One of my favourite things to do in the world is stand up in front of a bunch of you and teach you all about the intricacies of how blogging and social media can change your life.
I’ve been involved in adult education and training for over twenty years (yes, I’m that old!) and have a Masters of Education degree to back that up.
You can attend my training courses in a few different places around Perth:
Bloggers’ Workshops in the northern suburbs
The 2015 series of Bloggers’ Workshops held in North Beach are proving very popular. The remaining workshops include:
17 September 2015: Using Twitter with your blog
22 October 2015: Newsletters for your blog
3 December OR 5 December 2015: Make 2016 your blog’s biggest year
Next year I’m planning to run similar workshops as well as a tight-knit bloggers’ mastermind – email me if you’re keen to be involved with either of these in 2016.
What others say: Amanda is down to earth and presents in an easy to understand manner, with fun while sharing her expertise and education her audience. She combines the theory with practical which helps increase the learning. She is an engaging trainer and I highly recommend you attend one of her sessions. (Jo Saunders, Wildfire Social Marketing)
University of Western Australia Extension
I regularly present blogging and social media courses in the community arm of UWA – these courses are open to the public and usually held on Saturdays. Upcoming courses include:
5 September 2015 – Start your blog in a day – this is the first time I’ll be teaching in the new venue of the UWA Club with a fancy lunch included – I can’t wait!
19 September 2015 – Promoting your business online – this course covers social media and the myriad of ways you can promote your small business or solopreneur work.

- Becoming a blogger (using either WordPress or Blogger platform)
- Safe social networking (focus on parents)
- Optimising your online presence (for freelancers and small businesses)
- Introduction to Facebook and Twitter
- Social media overview
- Online learning in the classroom (secondary school)
